Volunteer: Style Squad - July Personal Styling Events! Help Young Adults find their Success Suit!

Our busiest season for special wardrobing events is coming this July with 20 upcoming opportunities to volunteer! Our long time partners, Simon Scholars and Sharefest are collectively sponsoring 200+ young adults to receive one professional outfit as part of their individual programs.

Become a part of our Style Squad!
This is powerful team of changemakers who believe in more than just clothing people for interviews—we believe in restoring dignity, building confidence, and opening doors to life-changing opportunities. Whether you’re volunteering as an individual or part of a group, this is your chance to empower others while experiencing the joy of purpose-driven service.

Why It Matters

Every session is more than a wardrobe fitting—it’s a moment of empowerment. Many of the individuals we serve are young adults preparing for their very first job interviews or career steps, often while overcoming significant life challenges.

The right outfit is more than fabric and thread—it’s the bridge between self-doubt and self-belief. With your encouragement, guidance, and care, clients walk away not only looking ready for success, but feeling ready for it.

Volunteer Your Way

As part of these special wardrobing events, you may take on roles such as:

Personal Stylist – Work one-on-one or in small groups to help clients select outfits that reflect their goals and aspirations.

Runner – Keep sessions flowing by ensuring clothing and accessories are ready and available.

Presentation Wrapper – Put the finishing touches on professional looks, making sure clients feel proud and confident.

Backroom Support – Assist with organization and preparation so every client’s experience is seamless.

No fashion experience required—just bring your passion for helping others and your willingness to uplift.

What to Know

Shifts: A few hours up to Half-day and full-day options are available throughout the year.

Dress Code: Business casual to professional attire with comfortable shoes.

Orientation: If you haven't volunteered as a Stylist before, we recommend you attend one of our upcoming orientations. See opportunity list for options. A quick training of roles and steps of service will be offered at the start of every session.

Hear It From Our Volunteers

“He left knowing Working Wardrobes was behind him… that’s what we do, we help people see their potential.”
